The Institute for Legal Studies is pleased to announce the 9th Midwest Law and Society Retreat to be held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on October 26-27, 2018.
Conference Objectives
This biennial interdisciplinary retreat brings together faculty and graduate students from the region’s diverse social science and law programs for a weekend of intellectual exchange and community building.
The 2018 Retreat will offer opportunities for participants to receive feedback on works-in-progress, discuss research methods and professional issues, and develop future projects with colleagues in the region.
Participants are encouraged to submit proposals on topics relating to law and society or to just attend the Retreat to join in the discussion.
Registration Fees
Faculty/Academic Staff: $250
Graduate Student/Independent Scholar: $100
UW Faculty, Staff, and Students: No fee
