About the Opportunity
Sul Lee Law Firm is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Legal Assistant for their Texas office.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide support to the attorneys in various aspects of legal work.
- Maintain trademark docket by ensuring deadlines are met, and relevant parties are notified of upcoming deadlines.
- Assist attorneys with trademark and litigation filings in state and federal courts.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Organize and manage case files and documents, both physical and electronic.
- Conduct legal research as needed and compile data for various legal projects.
- Manage and coordinate attorney schedules and appointments.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
- Knowledge of trademark docket maintenance and litigation filings is preferred.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Salary
$48,000 – $54,000 yearly
