Blizzard Entertainment, California is expanding its legal team and inviting applications for a Cyber Security Awareness and Communications Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Building and executing a Cybersecurity specific communication plan and framework to enhance awareness and knowledge of information security at all levels of the Cybersecurity organization
  • Delivering strong communications with key messaging to internal stakeholders and executives through company channels, email, and SharePoint and by innovating new vehicles to reach employees.
  • Developing long-term strategies and key initiatives, with the goal of creating a security culture that engages employees in understanding cybersecurity and their role in protecting company data
  • Working with leadership and management to develop demonstrable links between staff engagement and internal organization goals and provide metrics to support the achievement of goals
  • Developing and driving action plans focused on the employee experience that are measurable and attainable
  • Overseeing communications for and assisting in the overall production of employee experience events (including Cybersecurity educational and training sessions, cybersecurity leadership events, and Cyber Security Awareness Month events
  • Take a creative approach to developing and maintain Cyber Security Awareness and Training materials to address the global learning needs of a wide variety of audiences, technical and non-technical in the areas of information security and risk management
  • Develop and maintain computer-based training courses which are required for users of ABK systems
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging content that drives change with targeted stakeholder groups
  • Assist information security staff in obtaining training needed to advance or grow in their career development
  • Measurement of the effectiveness of training and awareness activities using available metrics

Eligibility

  • Experience working in partnership with leaders and colleagues to drive results; experience interacting with all levels of management/staff and across organizational lines; knowledge of cybersecurity and technology field in a global environment
  • Excellent track record in influencing, leadership, and communications skills; experience presenting to different audiences verbally, in writing and in presentation formats
  • Ability to produce high-impact communication artefacts, including executive-level presentations, talking points, newsletters, reports
  • Excellent judgment with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-pressured environment
  • Experience working with detailed information and numerical data and presenting it in a way that is easily understood by people at different levels in the organization
