About the Opportunity

 A highly motivated attorney who desires to be on the cutting edge of fashion to be based in Los Angeles on a hybrid schedule. This Corporate Counsel reports to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate, and will be a generalist handling a variety of commercial matters.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review, structure, draft and negotiate commercial agreements in a broad range of transactional disciplines, including but not limited to marketing and services agreements, publisher agreements, influencer agreements, production agreements, co-branding agreements, NDAs, license agreements, sponsorship agreements, vendor agreements.
  • Gather and evaluate internal and external information, and perform legal research and analysis, to determine whether company actions or processes comply with company policies, laws and regulations.
  • Provide advice and counseling to cross-functional teams on novel, cutting-edge issues impacting e-commerce.
  • Manage and collaborate with top-tier outside law firms.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of corporate, transactional law experience.
  • Experience with marketing and sweepstakes laws is a plus.
  • In-house experience preferred, but not required.
  • Self-starter; entrepreneurial, “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Exceptional legal drafting, research and analytical skills.
  • Assists in improving processes and procedures
  • JD from a U.S. accredited law school
  • Must be a current member of good standing of a state bar in the US.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail and sense of professional accountability.
  • A good sense of humor and values collaboration.
