About Legal Internship Opportunity

Sierra Space, Colorado is inviting applications for Legal Internships from law students currently enrolled in law school and completed one year (or more).

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist our legal team in solving challenging problems across a variety of substantive areas that are critical to our organization’s success, such as space law, intellectual property, government contracts, and M&A
  • Keep our legal and business teams apprised of important substantive legal developments that impact our day-to-day business in Colorado and across the U.S.
  • Prepare contract documents to support critical business needs and revise corporate policies and other key documents in response to changing legal and regulatory landscapes
  • Play a critical role in our robust intellectual property program
  • Assist with corporate governance matters and other organizational issues that are critical responsibilities for our in-house legal team

Eligibility

  • Strong interest in and desire to learn more about in-house legal practice in a leading Spacetech company
  • Currently enrolled in law school and completed one year (or more)
  • Top 25% in class rank (if class rank is available) or a minimum of a 3.30 GPA (absent other exceptional qualifications)
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills
  • Proficient legal research skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through leadership positions in community, school, or other programs
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow through on all assignments, manage multiple projects simultaneously and establish priorities
