About the Opportunity
LEAP Legal Software is inviting applications from eligible candidates for its internship in Jersey City, New Jersey to run from June 19th – August 11th. In this role, the intern will work closely with the Content team to tailor the software to meet the needs of users in different jurisdictions.
The will be assisting the Content team with a wide variety of projects that require a high level of attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience with high volume data entry, data validation, coding, and software design.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with validating and updating area of law data fields for LEAP Clients on support.
- Assist with the maintenance of LEAP’s library of forms by reviewing and cataloging alerts.
- Assist with database calculation testing.
- Shadow different members of the team to assist with relevant projects.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Desirable Qualities
- Experience using document automation in Microsoft Word or another software provider.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or another programming language.
Perks
- Paid internship ($17/hour).
- The laptop and hardware will be provided.
Duration of the Internship
This will be a 8 week internship program (30 hours a week), running from June 19th – August 11th.
