About the Opportunity

GEP Worldwide is inviting applications from eligible candidates for its hybrid legal internship.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receiving software training in SharePoint and DocuSign (and other necessary programs).
  • Providing support to the senior paralegal and attorneys with contracts and business documents via manual or electronic signatures and maintaining a variety of physical and electronic files.
  • Providing paralegal support by drafting email reminders for outstanding contracts.
  • Occasional admin work such as scanning, printing, copying, and preparing FedEx packages.
  • Review of the high volume of contracts/documents in preparation for our contract archival process to comply with our company retention policy.
  • Gaining additional document management experience via SharePoint to maintain our digitized centralized contract repository.
  • Assisting in the execution of contracts via DocuSign.
  • Assisting with sending out contract reminders.
  • Utilizing organizational and time management skills to meet priorities and deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current student or recent graduate from ABA-approved Paralegal Studies program Completion of legal writing and contracts courses is helpful for this position. D.s or law school students need not apply.
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; the employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity
  • Basic MS Office capabilities: Word and Excel, knowledge in Outlook or Teams are helpful, but can be trained

  • Eagerness, self-motivated, and committed to ongoing learning and training, have strong organizational skills and the ability to use your analytical skills.
  • Willing to work under the direction of others, willing to review a high volume number of documents, and able to manage work with detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Commitment to being punctual, having good attendance, and reporting to the worksite a minimum of two days a week or more, depending on business needs/requirements.
