Mainetti & Mainetti P.C wants to help the next generation of lawyers get their start. They are giving two scholarships that will help relieve some of the financial burdens of law school for qualifying students.
Amount: $1,500
Criteria:
Must be a current law student (or be enrolled at a law school within one year) who has graduated from a high school in either Orange, Ulster or Dutchess Counties. Students with full academic scholarships are not eligible to enter this contest.

Tell Mainetti & Mainetti P.C about contributions you have already made, and/or want to make through the legal system, to help the less fortunate in your community, however you define it.
Please tell your story in a narrative format, starting with an introduction about you, what you’re interested in, and anything else you feel is important. Please limit your essay to 750-1000 words.
The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who we feel best demonstrates a genuine desire to fix problems and conditions in your community. If your essay is selected, we will publish it and your headshot on our website and social media properties.
If you are selected as a winner, a tuition invoice from an accredited law school must be provided within one year. We will then send a check for $1,500 to the school.
Deadline:
The deadline for submissions is June 1, 2019. We will announce a winner by June 15, 2019.
