Undergraduate Student Conference
The Undergraduate Program of Villanova University’s Theology and Religious Studies Department is sponsoring an Undergraduate Student Conference and is seeking quality papers to be presented on Friday April 6, 2018.
Paper proposals (150 word abstract) are due by Friday February 2, 2018. Please email abstract along with name and school affiliation to theology@villanova.edu.
Students selected to present papers will be notified by February 23, 2018.
Final essays are to be submitted by March 19, 2018 via email to theology@villanova.edu.
Academic essays appropriate for a 15-20 minute oral presentation. While the Undergraduate Student Conference does not have a specific theme, preference will be given to papers that explore the intersection of theology, religion, and contemporary culture or to those that engage a pressing current issue from a theological or religious perspective.
This conference is open to the public and free for all presenters and attendees.
An honorarium of $100 will be awarded to papers selected to be presented at the conference, and lunch will be served to all participants and attendees.
