About the opportunity
As the Legal Intern, the intern will assist the Axiom’s Legal team with the management of a variety of corporate legal functions while learning about the different aspects of an in-house legal department. Interns will gain real-world work experience in their academic field. The intern will also engage in challenging projects, be paired with industry professionals and mentors, and be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding of the business.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Intern
- Conducting legal research for various disciplines including data privacy, labor and employment, intellectual property, and corporate law
- Assisting in the development and improvement of company policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with Axiom’s mission
- Attending conference calls and meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree and completion of at least (1) year of law school
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- A strong level of professionalism and organizational skills
- A high level of confidentiality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
