About Summer 2023 Legal Internship
Southwire LLC, Atlanta is inviting applications for a Summer 2023 Remote Legal Internship from candidates who must be a degree-track student (J.D. or LLM) who will have completed one year of law school at an ABA-accredited institution before the start of the internship.
Role and Responsibilities
The legal intern will support the legal team with:
- Research, writing, and other legal work projects across a variety of practice areas that could include commercial, employment, intellectual property, environmental, litigation, marketing, and real estate law.
- The intern also assists with project management, filing, and administrative tasks.
- Intern will report to SVP, Deputy General Counsel.
Eligibility for Legal Internship
- The candidate must be a degree-track student (J.D. or LLM) who will have completed one year of law school at an ABA-accredited institution before the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. preferred qualifications
- Must be able to plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- At least a 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedule preferred.
