About the Position
Wilson Elser’s Las Vegas office is currently seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with 3+ years of insurance coverage and defense litigation experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Minimum Qualifications
- JD from an accredited Law School
- Admitted to practice and experience in the state of Nevada
- 3+ years of insurance coverage and defense litigation experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience in evaluating insurance coverage under general liability, umbrella/excess, auto, and /or professional liability policies a plus
- Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions and motion practice
- Superior written and oral communication skills required
- Legal project management experience is helpful
