About Licensing Administrator Job Opportunity
Tesla is looking for an experienced Licensing Administrator to join our Energy Deployment team. The Licensing Administrator’s primary role will be collecting, verifying, submitting, amending, and tracking the approval of various licensing applications, including but not limited to contractor’s licenses, electrical licenses, and business licenses.
Role and Responsibilities
- Creating and executing licensing procedures to ensure the energy entities have personnel that are properly licensed in all relevant jurisdictions
- Reviewing licensing applications, updates, and renewals for completeness and accuracy prior to submission
- Submitting said applications and tracking their progress through the issuance
- Researching new market license requirements
- Supporting ad hoc projects, as needed, for the Deployment and Legal department
- Provide support to qualifying employees to obtain additional licenses as needed.
- Document processing, retention, and file maintenance
- Providing compliance reporting as needed to manager
Eligibility
- 2+ years of licensing or comparable experience.
- Preferred experience: familiarity with adding/removing personnel from state license boards, filing amendments with the Secretary of State, reporting gross receipts, tracking continuing education hours, obtaining surety bonds and certificates of insurance
- A team player with the ability to proactively identify problems and identify pragmatic/creative solutions.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively and to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- A quick and flexible learner, intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity and risk, and excited by dynamic change.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly earn the confidence of your colleagues and a willingness to communicate with teammates early and often.
