About the Internship
CymaBay Therapeutics is inviting applications from eligible candidates for its legal internship in Newark, California from June to the end of August (exact dates are flexible).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review the Company’s contracts in a centralized contracts management system, ensuring all contracts are tracked, monitored, and archived properly and efficiently.
- Provide support in monitoring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies to improve the contracts management process.
- Assists in general corporate legal work as assigned and agreed upon.
Education and Qualifications
- Strong preference for applicants currently enrolled in law school.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to independently understand contracts and other legal documents, including knowledge of contract structure and ability to identify specific contractual provisions.
- Flexible, resourceful, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Experience with contracts management databases preferred.
- Demonstrated experience proactively managing a large number of documents in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range
$25 to $35 per hour.
