About Legal Counsel Job Opportunity
They are looking for an exceptional attorney to join our Delivery legal team, which supports the business, operations and product teams responsible for the technology that powers millions of Uber Eats and other item deliveries around the world every day!
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead reviews of new products and features, and coordinate global reviews with our regional partners, positioning these products/features to reduce risk from product development through launch
- Be a strong communicator, project manager, and collaborator to effectively support a high-performing team to achieve our legal priorities
- Identify and resolve wide-ranging legal issues with a particular emphasis on consumer protection issues
- Be an active and trusted business partner, delivering concise, timely, and actionable advice
- Draft terms and conditions, FAQs, legal disclaimers, and other policies governing the use of Uber products and services
- Create and implement policies and practices to ensure consistent implementation of legal guidance and alignment on risks
Eligibility for Legal Counsel Job
- Minimum of 4+ years of legal experience in private practice, government, and/or in-house.
- J.D. and license to practice law in at least one state.
- 6+ years of legal experience in private practice, government, and/or in house
- Strong project management skills to stay organized and keep on top of deadlines for yourself and other stakeholders
- Outstanding legal skills, innovative thinking, and the desire to take the initiative while thinking proactively.
