Role and Responsibilities
- This attorney will be working on managing a variety of litigation matters,
- The successful candidate must be prepared to work in a team environment,
- Provide counsel to internal clients,
- Assist with a variety of intellectual property, commercial, and privacy law issues.
Eligibility for Legal Counsel job
- Must have a JD from an accredited law school
- 4-6 years of experience conducting and/or managing complex commercial litigation focused on software and/or cloud-based companies.
- Patent litigation experience and prior in-house experience are valued, but not required.
- Ability to exercise common sense to provide both practical and theoretical advice; must be a creative problem solver and have good business instincts.
- The candidate must possess a sense of humor and enjoy working on a team and with people at all levels in the organization.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to providing clients with high-quality and timely legal advice, and flexibility to tackle different types of products and services and related work.
