Sephora, San Francisco is hiring and inviting applications for Legal Analyst jobs from professionals.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of existing privacy programs to include privacy operations and documentation, training, policy enforcement, privacy compliance program monitoring, and auditing; and third-party risk assessments;
  • Assist with regulatory response and reporting;
  • Be a cross-functional champion for privacy risk management;
  • Assist with digital marketing compliance including cookie monitoring;
  • Troubleshoot and document testing of opt-out preference signals;
  • Assist with regulatory and litigation response and management;
  • Help foster a culture of privacy and drive privacy awareness and education
  • Assist with third-party risk assessments and keep the data inventory up to date;
  • Investigate privacy complaints and adopt the appropriate standardized steps to respond to and address complaints;
  • Help triage and respond to privacy incidents and maintain the incident response plan;
  • Assist with data subject requests and monitor and respond to emails received to the privacy mailbox;
  • Work with tech team on maintenance of privacy enterprise tool

Eligibility

  • A bachelor’s degree;
  • 3 years’ privacy experience;
  • CIPP/US and/or CIPM certification preferred; Working knowledge of the U.S. and international privacy law, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, PIPEDA, online behavioral advertising principles, state data protection, and breach notification laws;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously under time-sensitive deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities;
  • Strong project management skills with an emphasis on being detail oriented and organized;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
  • Enthusiasm for taking on new and additional responsibilities as business and team needs evolve; and
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with flexibility and willingness to dive into any projects requiring support.
